LEGO joins in on the Cars frenzy

The Spy Jet Escape LEGO 8638, along with the Big Bentley Bust Out LEGO 8639, are LEGO sets where kids get to play out a favorite scene from the movie with the models and characters that they build themselves.

You may find a lot of Cars products available out there but the LEGO sets are really unique as they don't come out of the box ready to be played just yet. You have to do the hard work yourself before you get to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Building the models yourselves

What's great about the Spy Jet Escape is that you would need to build the models and the characters yourself. Getting a toy that you can play with just right out of the box can be a bit boring. Why not challenge your kids by letting them build the toys for themselves?

It also will teach your kids some skills that they can certainly use in the future. It teaches them the value of patience, building the models surely would take time; and it teaches them the value of hard work.

Aside from this, Spy Jet Escape LEGO 8638 also gives them more creativity to build their own models and create their own storylines for playtime

Lots of characters included

There are lots of characters included in the Spy Jet Escape set. Almost all of them are new characters from the second movie will be included. How cool is that?

The characters included are Finn McMissile, the police car; Holly Shiftwell, the British Spy car; and the lemons Grem and Ace. An old character from the first movie is also included, everyone's favorite Mater.

One downside to the set is that the main character Lightning McQueen is not included, but the last character surely makes up for it. Siddeley, the huge spy jet is included. Siddeley measures an impressive 11 inches long and 11 inches wide.
